·         Character Sketch: use words as character traits to describe Edward Abileine or Edward as you find them at http://www.tagxedo.com/

·         Main Incidents Discussion: Post your reflections about the main incidents as you read on KIDBLOG. Quote lines that are important.

·         Create a comic strip about your novel.  Pick a scene from the book.

·         Write a one-page letter to the author telling him/her what you like about her book and writing style.

·         Use the illustrations in the novel to create a movie trailer about the book. Use short captions to describe the illustrations. Use Moviemaker tool in your laptop and if you are taking the illustrations from google images, be sure to credit source.

·         Create a poem about one of the main character.  Illustrate the poem.

·         Make a timeline of at least 10 events from the story.  Illustrate.

·         Write  blog posts( KIDBLOG) describing each of the following:
          the funniest part, the saddest part, the happiest part,the most unbelievable part or the most believable part of the chapters that you read.
·         Use the camcorder of your laptop to record the broad cast of the play of a chapter/or two, of the novel. Use interesting and catchy words to invite people to come and see. Don’t feel shy, be dramatic J It could be a 90 secs or 120 secs audio broadcast.
Those of you who hesitate to use the webtools, use paper, colour and other stationery to create hard copies of your work. Please send your work to me via mail if possible so that I can share with the other schools. I will be available online only on Fridays. Have fun, enjoy your holidays and wish you and your family a very happy and safe Diwali .
